Where YouTube Shield purchases are offered, payments are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record.
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals under the terms shown at checkout; it does not automatically refund an earlier charge. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refund requests for Paddle transactions are handled through Paddle, subject to its current Refund Policy and applicable consumer rights. Paddle says transactions are generally non-refundable unless required by law and may consider discretionary refunds.

Complimentary creator or giveaway access has no cash value. A discount code lowers an eligible purchase price but is not money or stored value.
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory refund or other consumer rights.
